What’s Up?
After arriving early to get the projector set up and do a sound check, I went up to the exhibition space with a few friends. As I had not seen the prints I was a tiny bit nervous. Everyone–including and especially me–was blown away by the quality and color fidelity of the images. Mark Lukes and his staff at Fine Print Imaging in Fort Collins, CO simply knocked it out of the park. Many folks asked where the prints were made.
The experience of walking through the images in such a spectacular setting was a surreal one. To see the work of 32 years laid bare on the walls for all to see was a daunting one. I could not have felt more proud.

Arthur, A grand and glorious setting to present your spectacular photographs. Hope many other galleries notice and pick up with your display. Great photographs. And as a regular reader, as are many, of your blog, I/we have seen the physical/technical/mental work that goes with capturing these Birds. All the travel, weather conditions, lugging tons of equipment, and post work with your exceptional attention to detail really is notable. You have an enormous artistic vision. The display is absolutely stunning. You’re the best! I won’t be able to make it to SD–is there any chance there will be a traveling exhibit coming to the Midwest? Also, what size are the prints? I’ve always hesitated to make prints of birds that are larger than life size, but the teacher in you has shown me that it’s not only possible, but beautiful. Thanks for all you share with us.

Art: Love the picture of you with your “art” — I’m sure Elaine is looking down on you and smiling! BTW, I saw two of my favorites in the Ordover Gallery picture — the male cattle egret in breeding plumage on the left and the male frigate bird in breeding plumage on the right.

I’ll attribute the stuck out tongue to a probable demonstration of some avian characteristics to the two admiring ladies… 🙂

to take up a ton of real estate back home.
2. In your panel you say ‘one of the premier….’ I think all us would
agree, you ‘are the premier…’ You’re so great, you also take up
spots #2 and #3.
