What’s Up?
I woke up in the recovery room and asked, “When are they going to do my surgery?” All I felt was small pinch in my lower right abdomen. I have not spoken to the surgeon yet but hope to do so soon. We chatted briefly in the pre-op waiting room and he was super-nice and exuded confidence. Though I am still a bit loopy from the anesthesia, I gotta say that I am feeling great. With the laparoscopic surgery I have just three big bandaids on my right tummmy.

Artie – Yippie! It sounds like that gall bladder came out in one piece and was not too inflamed. Be aware that they pump air into your abdomen to give them room to work. A bit of distended tummy may be in your future. A good new year to you!

Ya gotta watch what you say when loopy in the recovery room, Artie! I’m told I was very liberal at the mouth when coming out of the colonoscopy procedure…
So glad it went well for you. You know what they say: “Pictures…or it didn’t happen!” And if anybody’s going to get pictures (w/ exif intact), I think it’d be you.

Kidney stone passed sometime Monday night as my back pain was replace by the right abdominal pain. So you might call it a double header. I am quite aware of my body and am glad that I did not pass off the different pain as the same old kidney stone pain…

Glad it went well and you’re awake and alert. I wish they’d had laproscopic when I had my GB removed (1982); it was major surgery and I was out of commission for 3 weeks.
Well, it seems I missed the previous posts and I’m knowing about your surgery only now… Best wishes, even though a bit late!
