Alive and Pretty Well ...

Alive and Pretty Well …

I departed the Sea Spirit on Sunday morning, 6 NOV and am waiting to check into my room at the Los Cauqeunes Resort in Ushuaia, Argentina. I am in the process of beating my third cold since my gall bladder surgery on October 6. Otherwise, I have been feeling great with lots of energy. Yesterday I felt like a wet dish rag but am feeling much better today.

As I believe that I mentioned previously, I have extended my stay in the Falklands by another week. Nuts? Surely. Right now I am planning on arriving home late on DEC 25, 2016. It is likely that the first trip images will be posted during the second week of December. Till then, there will be a new blog post each and every day. As I predicted, readership is down about 30% though I am not sure why 🙂

Next weekend I head to Peru for a 2 1/2 week bird photography adventure. Be safe and have fun. artie

  • Looks like NFL ratings are down as well, so I wouldn’t be surprised that the blog readership is down. Maybe it’s all the election coverage!

Hi, Artie. I also got off the Sea Spirit yesterday; what a fabulous trip. Thanks for telling us about it on your blog and for all the great tips along the way. I just arrived in Houston and might finally be getting a cold–we’ll see. Everyone should see these special places!

Thank you, Artie, and stay well. Wow, 3 colds in a month. Let there be none more for a long time. My cols seems manageable and I’m home now. I’m going to have to save money and travel passes from Sheila before my next trip out of the country!

Thanks all for the good wishes. Great to meet you on the Sea Spirit, Wilifred. I am feeling very good this morning. I completed seven new blog posts yesterday. I need to finish eight more to get me through the 26 DEC post. Those should be a piece of cake.

later and love from Ushuaia, Argentina.

Thanks to you, YouTube and B&H and Canon, today is my first trip to Bosque del Apache. Since I’ll be an 80 year old guy next year, it’s about time.

    Thanks so much.

    Hi Art,
not nuts to extend your trip. It takes a lot to get there, might as well see it all, or almost all of the area
