When I read the headline I thought you&#039;d be talking about terns, which are mostly black-and-white in breeding plumage (well, many are) and which my tastes do run to.  Long ago I did only b&#038;w photography but now I use color, and I haven&#039;t been very successful in converting.  Have you seen the interesting book about Ansel Adams&#039;s color photography?  It&#039;s full of photographic insights.
