					<description><![CDATA[Artie, I used to own that Tamron lens when I shot with a Canon crop sensor camera.  I&#039;m not sure if will even mount to the 5D3 or 1DX or not, but it is a lens designed strictly for use on crop sensor cameras.  See the first paragraph under &quot;Overview&quot; at the B&#038;H link to the lens.

Sigma has a 12-24mm lens that is the closest focal length alternative to the new Canon 11-24mm and designed for use on either full frame or crop sensor cameras.  I believe Tamron has a 15-30mm f2.8.  If your B&#038;H contact knows you&#039;re going to be shooting with Canon full frame cameras, I&#039;d guess he will be loaning you one of those two lenses to compare with the Canon 11-24.]]></description>
