Even before I scrolled down to the section, &quot;The Image Optimization,&quot; I could already tell what you changed. When you ask these types of questions on the blog, and before I went on the Nickerson IPT, I would not have been able to spot all of the little changes. 

Perhaps the obvious color cast changes and maybe a spot on the leaf here or there, but you removed an entire chick and some very small grains of sand.

&lt;font id=comreply&gt;Thanks.  I did not realize that the blob behind the little beach plant was an out-of-focus chick.  But I did know that I hated it :)&lt;/font&gt;

Would I ever optimize an image this much? The answer is I don&#039;t know. The fact is, if I wanted to, I learned about the tools and techniques to make it happen. Now I just need to practice.

Great work and a greater shot. I know you loved it the second you had it on your memory card.

To echo David and yourself that was some fantastic Thai food and it would have been a great way to end the IPT, until Sunday morning picture chances happened.
