I have no clue as to what you mean by a &quot;centered foot.&quot;   The CR-X5 does a much better job of placing the center of gravity of the lens over the center of the tripod that the original lens foot.  But only if you are using a side-mounted gimbal head like the Mongoose M3.6 and like everyone should be using with all telephoto lenses :)
