I&#039;ve never tried​ ISO Safety Shift (I will now), but I use Auto-ISO a lot, and feel it gives me easier (different) control of aperture and shutter speed than in manual mode. But, only with a camera that allows exposure compensation in Auto-ISO mode, like the 1Dx.
