I will generally take a shot as Denise has, then go in close and look for interesting subject matter, angles light, shapes, juxtaposition,colour etc.
Always find myself wondering what this building could tell me about life.

Denise, I think the IR is very fitting for an old dilapidated farm house. I will definitely have to try it out on some of the old ones in my part of the world.
