Hi John,

The Canon 5d Mark IV, the Canon 5DS R, and the Nikon D850, all exhibit what I call small pixel noise  -- perhaps what I am seeing is Luminance noise.  It is certainly not Color noise. It is barely visible unless you blow the background up several 100%. On occasion, I will use NeatImage to eliminate it.
