Well said, Joel. The 7r iv with the 200-600 is not a good combo for flight photography (at least in my hands ) but it is great working at close range. 

Actually, Arash&#039;s standards are to the right of the bell curve :)

<p>Well said, Joel. The 7r iv with the 200-600 is not a good combo for flight photography (at least in my hands ) but it is great working at close range. </p>

					<description><![CDATA[I do not own any Sony or Nikon gear but from images you post and images on other sites I would not say the Sony 200-600 is &quot;garbage&quot;.  

There are many posts across many sites complaining that it does not &quot;play well&quot; with the a7r4 compared to the a9II. Presumably due to the very small pixels and/or a focusing issue with that particular combination but I don&#039;t know if that&#039;s been proven or substantiated by Sony (or anyone else). 

Also, I would not ever expect that it would be as sharp or focus as fast as a high end prime lens. 

Still, for many, its performance is acceptable and a great value for the money. 

For Arash it is not. His standards for acceptable performance are likely on the far right of the bell curve compared to most amateur photographers.]]></description>
