YAW. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. If you have time, &quot;wasting a shot or two&quot; to get the right exposure is not a big deal; the big problem occurs when something in a new situation occurs suddenly right in front of you. With practice, with SONY, you can adjust the ISO almost instantly, on the fly if you would. 

And yes, the histogram in the viewfinder is a really pain for me, no so much for flight but because it blocks your view of the whole frame and makes it more difficult to fine-tune your image designs.
