I have not heard of that and am a bit confused. Exactly what is coming loose?  Is it something on the lens or on the hood?  The front of the lens seems to be rock solid …

It would seem that it there is a problem that it needs to go in for repairs. We strongly recommend one repair place in the SONY Camera User’s Guide. And recommend strongly against another repair place. If none of them own the guide it might be worth getting a copy just for that info alone. 

I have not have experienced anything similar to what you have described.

Not due to bleeding ...  I actually used Viveza to lighten and saturate the speculum. I even sent Brian Sump an e-mail asking him if he thinks I overdid it. He said, &quot;Maybe a little.&quot;  Whenever we try something new we often overdo it.
