Yes, following your advices; I use an AI Denoise application (not Topaz) that takes care of my noisy images.  Recently, I processed an image captured at ISO 25600 with an APS-C DSLR of 21 megapixels.  You can imagine the amount of noise it produced! However, the denoised image became fully useable.

Now, why I needed to go upto that ISO level?  Because, I shot that image of an owl after dusk with the help of a moderately powered flashlight.
