We also have fog in winter. I love shooting foggy landscapes.

I didn’t switch to MILC. My current handheld bird photography rig is: Canon 1DIV+EF 400 f/5.6L+1.4x. Love shooting with it. However, might consider an EOS R3 couple of years later.
