Thanks, Jeff.  In nature, there are lots of distracting elements that are almost always displeasing when you are striving to create artistically pleasing images. As my friend John Shaw says, The job of the nature photographer is to create order out of chaos. Notice that the complete shadow under the far wing did not bother me at all ...
