8TB SSD from Samsung: for those who need it, the Samsung Evo range if SSDs include an 8TB version. I've only been using mine for a couple of months, but it allows me to have all my photos (and Lightroom catalogue) on my laptop and makes my backup routine simple
I paid £310 on Amazon for mine.

Don't forget to use Artie's link to Amazon if you decide you want to pick one of these up.

Love to all,

Be very careful with those Sandisk SSD drives. https://petapixel.com/2023/08/08/sandisk-portable-ssds-are-failing-so-frequently-we-can-no-longer-recommend-them/. SanDisk Portable SSDs Are Failing So Frequently, We Can No Longer Recommend Them. AUG 08, 2023. This situation has been serious enough that other staff members at PetaPixel have stopped using SanDisk portable SSDs regardless of their age out of an abundance of caution. I no longer use them.
