For me also, it will serve as my easy to carry 300/420/600mm overseas with both extenders. From Australia, International airlines are not easy to deal with when carrying my 600f4 lens. I am 76 years old now and carrying can be a chore anyway.
But also, in poor light at 300 f2.8 or 420 f4, it is so much better than the 200-600m f6.3. Just have to adapt to the shorter reach.
