Hi John,

For birds, the newer bodies are far superior to the a7R IV and V. Good for what you are doing. The 200-600 is vastly under-rated.  I was reading somewhere about it recently and folks were bitching. I&#039;de love to see a GM version, about 8 ounces lighter with a bit faster AF along the lines of the 300mm f/2.8 GM. Thank for dropping by.

It offers fantastic range for when I need that kind of reach. Bokeh is decent as well. I find the auto focus to be a tad slow but still really good for this kind or lens.]]></description>
