Tom,  I agree that the square crop work well for the flight post in Image #2. See the Saturday blog post to learn why it was my only option :-)

I might say my comment differently about the “L” wing pose.  The subject’s right wing position calls for a rectangular horizontal crop. The left wing position would benefit from a vertical crop.  But since both wings are not in the same orientation, a square crop works well in this situation. Again, just my opinion.]]></description>
