I bought a Kirk Photo adapter which makes the foot into a quick release just like the 200-600, and then I use my Kirk lens foot between the 2-6 and 4-8. I use the 4-8 a lot with my monopod. Adapter: Kirk Replacement Foot Kit for Sony FE 400-800mm f/6.3-8 G OSS Lens.
