On #1, I like the elongated “greyhound” look of the tern and especially the splayed tailfeathers. And while I understand using the label “photo illustration,” the image doesn’t change natural history and I wouldn’t be upset if it wasn’t labeled. On #4, though the centered pelican may look more contrived, it’s also more BAA–the very reason one might be tempted to contrive it–and it’s nice for older eyes to to see both wings clearly.
