For me, image #1, the silhouette of the black skimmer flying at sunrise wins on several counts: (1) I wish it were mine, (2) it is the most dramatic of the images in this blog and (3) the spectacular light. It is also, in my opinion, the most creative. But, I’d also put #10, the semi-palmated sandpiper, in this category — I love the bird’s soft reflection in the rain puddle and the soft green vegetation.
