ISO 400.  Evaluative metering +1\/3 stop: 1\/800 sec. at f\/6.3.  I added a bit of light in the early morning light at risk of burning the highlights in order to obtain maximum detail in the dark feathers.  The few blinkies were easily recoverable. (It seems that there is a Snowy Owl invasion in the northeast, especially on Long Island and coastal New Jersey.)<\/p>\n<p>I am celebrating my 19th straight Thanksgiving at Bosque del Apache NWR in San Antonio, NM.
