Snowy Owl: the Long Island quarry… This image created on a December trip to Long Island several years back with the Gitzo 3532 LS carbon fiber tripod<\/a>, the Mongoose M3.6 head<\/a>, the Canon EF 800mm f\/5.6L IS USM Autofocus lens<\/a>, the Canon 1.4x EF Extender III (Teleconverter)<\/a>, and the EOS-1D Mark IV (now replaced for me by the Canon EOS-1D X digital SLR <\/a>). ISO 400. Evaluative metering + 1 2\/3 stops as framed: 1\/400 sec. at f\/10 in Av mode. <\/p>\n
