What’s Up<\/h3>\n

We enjoyed a pretty much perfect day yesterday. Great weather, great light, and great birds. Not to mention a wonderful lunch and a 2-hour image review\/editing\/DPP\/Photoshop session. <\/p>\n

This blog post took about 1 hour to assemble. It was published at 5:08am Pacific time. Please note that I still have many exciting new images, tales, and lessons from my recently concluded Southern Oceans trip to share with you here over the course of the next few weeks and am looking forward to doing just that. This image was created in the shade of an oak tree on a clear day with the tripod-mounted Canon EF 200-400mm f\/4L IS USM lens with Internal 1.4x Extender<\/a> and the Canon EOS 7D Mark II <\/a> with the internal TC engaged at 560mm. ISO 400. Evaluative metering +1 stop as framed : 1\/200 sec. at f\/5.6. <\/p>\n
