Like It or Hate It?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>What&#8217;s Up?<\/h3>\n<p>Yesterday morning down by the lake was more of the same: it was cloudy dark and still with rabbits, crane colts, a handsome Great Blue Heron in a canal, and some Black Vultures. By afternoon it was totally socked in overcast so I simply took a walk on the pier (without a lens)!<\/p>\n<p>The forecast for this morning &#8212; Monday 27 APR 2020 &#8212; is clear and sunny with a breeze from the north. Not bad. I will be heading down to the lake to do some hunting with my SONY gear at about 7:30am. I hope that you and yours are well and safe. My oldest grandson, Ilyas Reimov &#8211;14 &#8212; tested positive for coronavirus. He lives at the Anderson Center for Autism in Hyde Park, New York. All images were made while I was staying dry inside my vehicle. For the most part, I used the bare <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1485539-REG\/sony_sel600f40gm_fe_600mm_f_4_gm.html\/BI\/6633\/KBID\/7226\/kw\/SO6004GM\/DFF\/d10-v2-t1-xSO6004GM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sony FE 600mm f\/4 GM OSS lens<\/a> with the blazingly fast <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1509600-REG\/sony_ilce9m2_b_alpha_a9_ii_mirrorless.html\/BI\/6633\/KBID\/7226\/kw\/SOA92\/DFF\/d10-v2-t1-xSOA92\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sony Alpha a9 II Mirrorless Digital camera body)<\/a>. The lens was supported by my <a href=\"https:\/\/birdsasart-shop.com\/flexshooter-mini\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">FlexShooter Mini<\/a> atop the lightweight  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outdoorphotogear.com\/search.php?search_query=indurogrand&#038;rfsn=132487.5cf37.9906\">Induro<\/a> GIT 204. I have been experimenting making small-in-the-frame habitat shots with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1411907-REG\/sony_fe_24_105mm_f_4_lens.html\/BI\/6633\/KBID\/7226\/kw\/SO241054GFK\/DFF\/d10-v2-t1-xSO241054GFK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sony FE 24-105mm f\/4 lens <\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/1494679-REG\/sony_ilce7rm4_b_alpha_a7r_iv_mirrorless.html\/BI\/6633\/KBID\/7226\/kw\/SOA7R4\/DFF\/d10-v2-t1-xSOA7R4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sony Alpha a7R IV Mirrorless Digital camera body.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can learn a lot by checking out the shutter speeds below each image.
