At 4:02am on Thursday 22 October, Anita North and I pulled out of my driveway at Indian Lake Estates and headed for our AirBNB in Gulfport, MS. Google Maps shows a distance of 628 miles. We began packing on Tuesday and had four bags in the Thule Rooftop Cargo carrier before noon on Wednesday. Early to bed as usual for me, I woke early and packed the cooler, our day bags, and our Think Tank Urban Disguise laptop bags. The photo gear is always in the car \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n

I was glad to learn that good friend Greg Gulbransen sold his Nikon 600mm f\/4 VR lens for $8796.95 the day we dropped the price $500.00. And I was thrilled to arrange the sale of Walter Barkley’s Canon 600mm f\/4L IS II USM lens to Shalin Modi for $6,299.00 before the lens was even listed. <\/p>\n

I imagine that there must be a location or two around with some gulls, terns, and shorebirds. If you live in the area and are COVID-conscious (masks and social distancing), perhaps we could meet this afternoon for a photo session. On Friday we head down to Galveston, TX for three days.
