This Just In For Thursday Morning...

This Just In For Thursday Morning…

After a totally amazing Wednesday morning (> 1,000 images yielded 126 keepers) and with the weather supposed to be identical, I am offering a private or small group morning of instruction–Thursday, August 4, 2016 for the usual on-site rate: $350 for the morning session plus brunch and image review (included). 500 or 600mm lenses with TCs for best results. If you are up to getting better quickly shoot me an e-mail or try me on my cell at 863-221-2372. Please leave a message if I do not pick up.

I will be there; will you?

It was nice to run into you this morning, Artie. If tomorrow is anything like today, this opportunity is not to be missed. I should note that just after you left the beach, someone from the town (conservation dept??) came by and complained that the birds were not where they were supposed to be. (??) He hoped they would move back behind their roped area like good Skimmers. I thought they were just fine where they were.

Perhaps they could herd the chicks with their trucks… In addition, the birds were quite copacetic and the photographers extremely well behaved except for one lady who got there early. She messed up Tom a bit and then did the same to me. I said to her in as nice a voice as possible, “Once you get this close you cannot just stand up and walk away; you gotta stay on the ground.”

      Ditto on the meeting.

I would if I could! I was looking at the weather there and noticed the wind looked ideal for Wednesday. Perhaps with a bit more notice I’d make the trek 🙂

Fly tonight! Only kidding but it is gonna be great again… I am gonna try to concentrate on flight and working wider and quit the chicks of all sizes at 1200mm. Fat chance!

Ha! Shooting young chicks with a long lens is the best way to spend a morning at the beach! I look forward to seeing your photos and being very sad I didn’t join the fun. 🙂
